I have two wonderful recipes that I got from 2 women at my local WLS support group.

One is for crustless pizza

Recipe makes 6-8 servings

Preheat oven to 400

Meanwhile mix together 1-10 oz. package of thawed and completey drained spinach, 2 cup bag of Sargento Reduced Fat 4 Blend Italian Cheese, 1/2 Cup Egg Beaters, Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes, 2 ounces of Classico Spicy Tomato and Pesto Sauce or Hunts Spicy and Zesty Spaghetti Sauce.

Take a metal roasting pan or lasagne pan and spray bottom and sides with Canola Oil Spray.

Place mixture into pan and even out over surface of pan, make sure there are no gaps or holes.  Pour 8 more ounces of Sauce over top and even out with the back of a spoon.

Bake for 20 minutes till cheese is golden and bubbly.  After cooked, allow to cool down and serve warm.  Low calorie, Low Fat, Low Carb and Good Protein Source.

YOGURT TREAT

Individual Serving Cup of Oikos Fat Free Plain Yogurt blended with 1.25 Tablespoons of Jell-o Brand S/F, Pistachio Pudding and Pie Filling or Banana Cream.  Blend untill even texture and no powder showing.  MMMMM - tastes like cannoli filling.

Check with your surgeon to see if you can have spinach and cheese, the sauce and egg beaters should be fine.

Here is a favorite of mine:

Black bean soup

2 cans diced tomatoes with chilies
1 can black beans, drained
1 can whole kernal corn, drained
1 can chicken broth or tomatoe juice
1 1/2 cup cooked & diced chicken, turkey or lean ground beef

heat and eat

My whole family loves it.
