Need Help-Ice Cream
I'm making Ice Cream but it keeps getting frozen solid. I'm using 2% milk. I have also just tried Half and Half instead of milk. I do have eggface's recipes but what am I doing wrong? Does yours have to be thawed out a little before eating or is it ok right out of the freezer? Please
help.
By the way they do taste okay once I thaw them but they don't have that creamy taste.

Hi Susan,
I have tried & liked her recipes for ice cream as well, but I use fat-free half & half for the milk, and add 2 Tbs - the whole small pkt of SF Jello instant pudding to the mix (depending on batch size) to add creaminess to the texture.
As for the hard-as-a-rock freezing, I still get that as well, with or without the pudding mix.
I recently made a batch, but used popsicle molds to make ice cream pops instead; works great, and no guessing as to the serving size. They still froze so hard that I have to rinse the outside of the mold with warm water to get the pops loose.
