Easy protein shake for newbies - Peanut Butter and Banana sandwich Shake!

So I am 3 1/2 weeks post op and am having a TERRIBLE time with protein and I have found something that is staying down so far!  Yay!!


Easy peasy -

Protein powder makes me sick, so no protein powder -

Peanut Butter and Banana sandwich Shake!
1/2 cup of ice in a blender

8 ounces of Unsweetened Soy Milk - 7 grams protein

2 - tblspoons of Chunky or Creamy Peanut butter - I am using - Smart balance Chunky for 7 grams protein

1/2 - 1 banana

Blend well

14 grams of protein + a banana

It is easy to drink and yummy

YOU can add a No suggar added Carnation Instant Breakfast to add tons more protein But Too much protein at once makes me sick...

ALSO - Can add a splenda for sweetening - I think it takes good without - so Try away!
