HEY GIRLY!!  I AM A SHRIMP LOVER AS WELL. WHEN I TRIED TO THEM FOR THE FIRST TIME THEY CAME RIGHT BACK UP I SOON FOUND OUT I ADDED THEM TO MY DIET TO EARLY. I AM NOW 2 MONTHS OUT AND LOVE MY SHRIMP BUT I CAN ONLY EAT ABOUT THREE OR FOUR OF THEM THEN I AM FULL. SO JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE YOUR NOT HAVING THEM TOO SOON OK. BUT THE WAY I EAT MINE IS SEASON THEM WITH GARLIC POWDER AND I CAN'T BELIEVE ITS NOT BUTTER IN A PAN UNTIL DONE. THEY ARE AWSOME. YOU DON'T NEED TO FRY THEM THAT IS TOO MUCH FAT SO JUST STICK TO SAUTED IN A PAN OBAY SEASONINGS ARE GOOD TO.

I have shrimp daily. Good source of protein, and low calories:

1) peeled and deveined in a ****tail
2) sauteed and tossed into a sauce of Curry Powder, light Coconut Milk, scallions, and nuts (if you can have them).  I don't do rice, so I have my serving with a half a slice of high protein high fiber toast.
3) tossed on some fresh spinach leaves with a light vinigarette
4) skewered with bell peppers and onions, then grilled or broiled in oven.

It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

My favorite shrimp recipe right now is Maryland Shrimp Salad. I think I found it at bariatriceating.com.  Super easy & quick to make.

1 lb. of cooked shrimp (I buy the already cooked and deviened kind in the freezer section)
1/4 c. of FF mayo.
1/2 tsp. of Old Bay seasoning
3 scallions chopped (sometimes I put these in and sometimes I don't)

You can leave the shrimp whole or chop it in the food processor. I like to put it in the food processor. Then just mix all the ingredients in a bowl. I stick it in the fridge to chill for a little bit and eat it all week. Sometimes I eat it by itself and sometimes I spread it on ritz vegetable crackers.

I believe it is OLD BAY that makes a microwave steam bag with seasoning..AWESOME and super fast! Look for it in the seasoning/baking isle of your supermarket or wally world. I use this EVERY time I make shrimp. I peel mine first for maximum flavor. I think they cook in like 3 to 4 min. Honestly YUMMO!
