Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/2 pound (2 sticks) Margarine or Butter Softened
1 Cup Firmly Packed Splenda Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Splenda
2 Eggs
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 1/2 Cups Hodgson Mills Wheat Graham Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt (Optional)
3 Cups Old Fashioned Oats,Uncooked
1 Cup Sugar Free Chocolate Morsels
1 Scoop Choc. Protein Powder


Heat oven to 350 degrees, beat margarine and sugar until creamy.Add eggs, and vanilla; beat well. Add flour, baking soda,protein powder, salt; mix well. Stir in oats and chocolate morsel; mix well.

Drop by rounded tablespoons full on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Cool 1 minute.   Makes about 4 dozen.


I'm not sure of the nutritional values, i didn't calculate BUT,
THEY ARE DELICIOUS!!

These sound great and I love oatmeal cookies. Have you tried substituting Splenda brown sugar for the brown sugar?

Actually I just ask my hubby this morning, if Splenda made a brown sugar, so my next batch will be with that.

I have a recipe that is close to what you have. I also make oatmeal/raisin cookies. I also add chopped walnuts to change up the flavor.
The splenda brown sugar works great in the cookie recipes. I think it taste great. Even non-WLS people like the cookies.
