I have come to realize that my pouch does not like chicken breasts so I use thighs all the time. Here is my favorite recipe. I can't really call it chicken soup because it is no****ery enough, so I guess I'll call it Chicken Stew:

2 packages of thighs (approximately 10 pieces)
2 cans of 98% FF Cream of Celery soup
2 cans of green beans
1/2 to 1 package of no-yolk egg noodles (I use 1/2 package, more chicken than noodles)
Seasonings to taste

1. Boil the ckicken until cooked thouroughly, then set aside to cool)
2. In the same water, take any fat off the top and then add your noodles to boil
3. When noodles are done, add celery soup, beans and seasonings. Do not drain the water.
4. Tear chicken into small pieces and add to the pot.

I've notices that since my surgery, normal foods that use to taste good just don't anymore. I had been making this for years before my gastric by-pass and it still tastes great. I'm sure that there are better noodles to use, but they don't give me the right taste.

Good luck!

A BIG hit in my house...

Marinate the thighs in Teriaki sauce for several hours. Then grill.

DH and DD cant get enough of them! Pretty good with asparagus roasted on the grill too.
