only being a month out of surgery i dont really have a ton of options for food and everything gets so repetitive and boring! well out of nowhere today, i thought back to when i was little and at school we used to eat pita pockets with meat and cheese.
i tried something kinda like it today and it was sooooo good and filled me up perfectly!

in a sauce pan use any type of pasta sauce you like [i just used traditional]
add garlic powder
add any type of veggies you like [anything you would add on a pizza or with pasta]
coo****il it starts to bubble [on a medium heat]
add mozzerella cheese and coo****il it melts
THATS IT!

i used toasted pita bread and dipped it but you can use anything you want!

**this would probably be so good with some chicken or turkey too!

Sounds yummy.  At your stage, I loved baking some Ricotta Cheese (mixed with an egg or egg beaters for a denser and higher protein content) on a plate, with marinara sauce on top. Like a little lasagna nugget!

How are the pita's sitting with you? I haven't tried alot of bread products, just some multi-grain crackers...

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
