I am looking for a recipe for tuna steaks.  I bought some and I am looking to cook them on Wed.

I like to marinade mine overnight in a ziploc bag with a favorite salad dressing.  Newman's Own Oil & Vinegar has no sugar whatsover, so its a good choice for us post-ops.
Then grill, broil or sear very quickly to medium rare (about 2 min per side, depending on thickness of tuna steak)
Tuna steaks done any more than medium will be dry and tasteless, so be careful about the cooking time.

Simple,,, I just season it with salt, pepper and garlic powder... Make the frying pan or grill really hot and cook  it about 2-2.5 min on both sides..  I know some people try all these little marinades but, I like the simple version the best.
