I love flaxseed meal in my yogurt, and in my baking.
I read somewhere in this forum that you can eat up to 2 cups a day.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for this wonderful grain?
Thank you in advance

Our wonderful Amber!

I use flax in everything I can stuff it into....meatloaf, soups, sprinkled into salads, I use it as an oatmeal substitute (flax-z-snax brand)....you name it.  Part of the problem with flax is it needs to be refrigerated becasue it can go bad....(I don't know why it goes bad, but it can...)

And there's the choice of forms it comes in....whole grain, split grain and flax meal....

i even use it as a coating for fried chicken....  so it's very versitile....  experiment girl!  i use it just as much as I use coconut fiber....and I use it every day multiple times....

Hello, quick question for you.... in your post you stated that you use this as a coating for fried chicken...how are you eating fried chicken?

Regards,
Heather

I never thought of using it as a stuffing or a coating.
I do keep the meal in the fridge.
Do you work with the flaxseed as a seed---or is it just ground into a meal?

Thank you Thomas for the options.  What is your favorite recipe with flaxseed?
