I loved the Ricotta bake here on Shelly's (eggface) site.  It is about 1/3 of the way down

I believe I was about 4 or 5 months out when I was cleared by my surgeon to eat "Salad".  We try to stay away from lettuce, since there is not really that much nutrition.  Our salads now are spinach, with other veggies, carrots peppers etc, many times will add cottage cheese, grilled chicken, beans to bump up the protein.

Here is what I liked:
1.  salsa--on top of cottage cheese or refried beans
2.  flax cereal--I got mine from Netrition--FlaxZSnax--Vanilla Almond--also cream of wheat with protein powder (Any Whey works well)
3.  after about 2 months I could tolerate egg salad and tuna salad--I got it at the deli and just kept in the frig for a quick meal, also lots of soups (pea, lentil, navy bean--no noodles, rice--tried to make my own, cheaper and not so much salt)--I could also hold down 1/2 slice whole wheat bread and made myself 1/2 open face sandwiches (liverworst, peanut butter and low sugar jelly, thin sliced turkey or ham all stayed down well)
4.  after 4 months I could add seafood salad (the kind with fake crab and shrimp) and chicken salad from deli and crockpot chicken things or ham or pork--no beef yet--cooked moist with lots of sauce
5.  turkey chili--well cooked soft veggies:  some cooked carrots, califlower, zucchini--nothing else stayed down.
Finally, I am six months out and can eat a bit of hamburger(no bun, just eat off as an open face)--but everyone is different and I have a very sensitive grouchy pouchy so you will have to see what you tolerate-- my doc said I could eat things way before my tiny tummy would tolerate them--I held down very little months 2-4 but am substanially feeling better now and eating more--although no  green type salads yet.  The only thing I ever dumped on were cream based:  puddings, a bite of coconut cream pie, sugar free ice cream.  I am going to try corned beef on St. Patricks Day--so keep your fingers crossed for me.  Good luck

I always keep beans on hand.
It's easy to mash up, add spices.

I also like Pumpkin Pie Puree.
1 (15oz) solid pumpkin puree
2 scoops Vanilla Protein Powder
2 tbsp Splenda
Pumpkin Pie Spice

Mix well.  Can eat it cold, or nuke your portion for 30 seconds.

Birdseye Steamables are pretty reasonable.

Steam 1 bag of Cauliflower w/garlic butter
Add a scoop of unflavored Protein Powder
Mash together @blend well.

Hi There:

I just posted 2 recipes; one for CROCK Pot Roast and another for Meatloaf.  The Meatloaf does not neet to be pureed.  I am still on my puree' diet and ate the meatloaf just fine.  The Pot Roast will definitely have to be pureed.  I did and tollerated it well.

Enjoy.
