Good Morning Everyone,

Hope you all had great weekends.  I went out on Friday night on a date, dinner, and dancing and then two other guys I have had dates with in the past month, showed up all at the same place.  At one point, three of them were talking to me at the same time, can't imagine this ever happening prior to the sleeve.  Yikes, I ended up choosing to go home alone as it was what I wanted.  I think they were sub prime men and well my high standards got the best of me.

Preliminary flower and veggie garden work on Saturday, laundry, counseling my broken hearted 17 year old daughter (she got dumped) and enjoyed the Cleveland Calvs game and the Oscars on Sunday.

I think this player Delonte West is hot, hot, hot....screw LeBron and all his ego.

I cooked a wonderful dinner Sunday night, and for those just beginning this weight loss journey, know that old time yummy dinners will happen again.

I cooked a herb crusted, sirloin roast and creamy mashed potatoes (17 year old loves these), asparagus, and a mushroom demi-glaze sauce.

I took the time to cook properly and browned the roast first, then put it in the oven with the teeniest amount of broth, onions, and whole garlic cloves.  Then an hour before ready, I took out the onions and garlic and poured off the juice to assemble the demi glaze (cheated and added a pkg. demi glaze to the broth and juice).  I smothered the roast in a dijon, honey mustard than patted this bread crumb mixture onto the mustard (2 cloves finely chopped garlic, 2 tlbs. basil, 1 tbls. olive oil, pepper and sea salt).  Then in the last 15 minutes, I added asparagus to the bottom of the roasting pan, sprinkled with sea salt and craked pepper, then a generous dripping of xtra virgin olive oil.

Added butter, half and half cream, cream cheese, and dill into the Yukon Gold spuds.  I love it when the house smells good for hours on a Sunday afternoon.

Oh my god, this was so yummy.....what did you all do ???

OMG Suzi your dinner sounds WONDERFUL!  I am a weekly meal preparer on Sat.  lol lol  I prepared all my weeks for this week on Sat.  Well the main course that is.  I did the Diet Coke Sloppy Joes (receipie below) and the chicken enchalidas (also below), a very low cal Stroganauff (wheat pasta), baked chicken strips, and a rump roast with veggies.  I have been on a mission to find great receipes that I can tweek and turn into low cal, low fat and low carb.  Can not wait to add yours to my stash!
Thanks
