Two Cheese Ball Recipes

Fruit ****tail Cheese Ball Take one can of fruit ****tail ( I use the no sugar added)...Drain the juice...Take a hand held potato masher ( or one of those hand held pastry dough cutters works that you use to cut the shortening and flour together for pie crust) and mash the fruit...Mix in one small box of sugar free vanilla pudding...Mix in 2 packs of softenend cream cheese...I then chopped ( or crush, whichever you prefer)up some walnuts ( can use pecans) and spread them out on a sheet of aluminum foil...Form the mixture into a ball with your hands and lay it down on the walnuts, and then turn it over, press left over nuts laying onto your cheese ball... Optional...Sometimes I add a small can of drained mandarin oranges to the fruit ****tail for a fruitier taste
Pineapple Pecan Cheese Ball 2 packs of cream cheese 1/2 cup diced green peppers 1/2 cup diced onions 3/4 - 1 can of crushed pineapple ( drain juice) pinch of salt 1 pack of Buddig beef ( diced ) 1 cup of chopped pecans ( I used walnuts) Mix all the ingredients into a ball...Dice up another pack of Buddig beef...Lay it on a sheet of aluminum foil...Form the mixture into a ball with your hands and roll it in the beef... For a bigger cheese ball, sometimes I add an extra pack of cream cheese

That sounds so yummy. I love fruit and cheese balls so what could be better. I'm so gonna have to try that for the next get together. Thanks for sharing. If interested I have a quick and easy cheese ball recipe also. Thanks again.

Ok its real simple you take 2 packs of cream cheese and 1 pack of the powdered ranch dressing mix. Just mix it all together and then roll it in pepper. Sounds kinda simple but the flavor of the ranch mixed with the pepper is really awesome. Enjoy.

Hmmmm have never heard of it being rolled in pepper...that is different...Thanks, will give it a try...Never know till ya try something new whether or not you will like it

I just noticed that you are from Holland...Ive been wanting to come there forever and ever and ever to see all the tulips during the festival...I bet its beautiful...Maybe sometime I will get to do that...

It is beautiful! The past few years the tulips have been at their peak during the festival. All the streets are lined with tulps along with huge beds along the main street. There is a Windmill Island that has thousands and thousands of plants. There are several parades during the week of festival and each night there are the Kloppen dancers downtown. Hundreds of people in authentic dutch costumes dancing in wooden shoes. The last Saturday of festival is the parade of bands and we get bands from all over the country that come here to march. If you ever get a chance to come you should. I would love to show you around or give you ideas of places to go and see.

Once in awhile the weather does not cooperate. There have been years that the weather got warm and the tulips bloomed too early so we had a "stalk" festival! But the festival goes on with or without tulips.

Try to make it sometime.

Thanks for telling me about the festival...It sounds wonderful, I would love to be able to come up sometime...Right now, my finances stink...Maybe in time I will be able to make it happen...It would be great to meet up with you, to show me around...Would be so fun
