What type of surgery have you had? I have a lap band and I can eat flour or corn tortillas. I just choose not to because of the carbs. If/when I do want a flour tortilla, I opt for the whole wheat.

I've been told no tortillas.  It might depend on how far out you are because I know Eggface has recipes with whole wheat, low carb tortillas.  Personally, I doubt I will even try them because my mother (also an RYN'er) had a bad experience when she tried to eat a tortilla, it covered the hole to her pouch.  She said it was the single most painful feeling ever. ;/

I use La Tortilla Factory whole wheat low-carb, high-protein tortillas to make wraps. The larger tortilla (which I cut in half for my wrap) has 80 cal, 10 g of protein, and 12 grams of fiber (so one-half is 40 cal, 5 g protein and 6 g fiber). Those stats, plus the stats on the filling (I use 2 oz FF turkey or ham for 45/40 cal and another 7 g protein) make a great lunch. And, of course, I chew chew chew. (Oh yeah, mustard too).
