I made this for dinner tonight and it was delicious and quick because apart from the fresh seafood I used preprepared product in jars etc (it was a slack night here).  I reckon from woe to go it took me maybe 5mins.

1/4lb scallops
1/4lb green prawns
tablespoon of garlic
1 heaped teaspoon of ginger
tablespoon of basil (from the tube)
1/2 teaspoon of chilli
tablespoon of butter
lemon juice

heat the wok and put in everything but the seafood, cook for a minute, throw in the prawns for 2 mins, stirring twice, then add the scallops and some more lemon juice, stir and cover for 2 mins.

Serve

This is absolutely delicious and high in protein and low in carbs.

I use medium size prawns.....green prawns are raw as opposed to cooked.

This looks really good....is it ground ginger? and, what exactly are green prawns?  When I get shrimp, I just buy whatever looks good in the seafood counter.....never know what kind they are.  :)

Green prawns are uncooked prawns, so they are more greenish/grey than pink, but you could do it with cooked shrimp, only you would not cook the prawns too long as they would toughen up.  I just used the ginger you buy in the jar in the supermarket....l was being lazy.

Green prawns are uncooked prawns, they are more greenish/grey in colour and turn the pinky salmon colour when cooked.  I used store bought ginger in a jar as I was feeling lazy.

It really was divine Thomas, the scallops I cooked ever so lightly and they were out of this world.
