Super easy high protein vegetarian foods
Hi- Get out your crock pot. I put a bag of Morningstar farms sausage-style crumbles, a can of my favorite bean, some italian spice and some cut up veggies (onions, peppers, carrots, celery, etc) and let that cook til the veggies are soft. Just look for the protein count on the crumbles and beans-add then divide by portions and you get your protein count. It will be high with low fat. I also use the ground beef-style crumbles by MF or Lifelight and make chili the whatever beans I like, my chili spices and pepper and onions (sometimes I put in diced jalapeno or a can of green chilis). Do your tally again for portions and you're set. Hope that helps. Donna
