I love peanut butter and while I have heard good things about the PB2 the thought of having to order 4 jars to see if I like it just goes against my  natural habits of watching my money. So I was looking at Walmart today and found one called Naturally More. It has been enriched with Flax seed and Flax seed oil. It contains 10 grams of Protein, 4 net carbs and 4 grams of fiber in each 2 tablespoons. it also has 5.3 grams of Omega 3 and 6.  I haven't tried it yet but will let you all know how it tastes but my question is I am still unsure on what is considered good and what is not so can anyone give me an ideal is this a good alternative or not?

Edited to add.........

OK I opened it and tried it. It is a natural peanut butter so the oils can separate and it needs to be stirred before use but the flavor i s very much like natural peanuts though it is a touch gritty textured, reminds you of when you chew roasted peanuts and it never gets totally smooth. All in all not a bad substitute if you are wanting the peanut butter taste below is a link to the complete nutritional information on it.

As to the PB2, I also read about it and wondered.  To order 4 jars is about $24 when you include the shipping.  I decided to risk it and I found a new favorite product.

I'm not too fond of it "straight up" as peanut butter (by mixing with water).  The flavor has a definite "roasted" taste and the texture just isn't quite there.  HOWEVER, it makes a wonderful addition to recipes.  I like to add it to puddings, smoothies, stir-fry sauce, etc.  Makes for a fabulous low-cal peanut butter pie.

I discovered that by increasing my order to 16 jars (I had a mixed batch of 12 PB2 & a 4-pack of PB2/Choc PB2) that I lowered cost to $4.50 a jar including postage.  I've had several people ask me about it and have shared the costs with family and with friends at my support group.  So much so that it's about time for me to place a 3rd order.  (And I just learned about it a few months ago.  Scary addiction!)

The website to purchase is www.bellplantation.com

Just a bit of info about PB2.. I ordered from Netrition. This site has many low carb items and their shipping is only $4.50 for the total shipment of whatever you order... A very good deal really when if you order things like protein powders or protien RTD bottles..

Thanks for the tip on Netrition.  I placed an order from them last night after I read your message.  Lots of fun things should be coming my way soon! =D

PB2 is worth the $$$.

If you don't eat it all, you could always sell it on eBay or to a member here.  Someone WILL buy it.

I buy it 2 cases at a time.

Hi Everyone,

I have had sunbutter.  It's like peanut butter, but made with sunflower seeds.  I like it especially on celery.  It's taste is more like PB when you mix it with sf jelly or jam, no sugar pickles, or lettuce.  I like all of these with it.
