Everyone is going to have their own personal subjective "best".

For me Isopure Chocolate and Vanilla. Jay Robb for all the super cool flavors. I can't stand "too sweet" protein drinks.

The Isopure is fantastic for me since I cook with the vanilla a lot.

The Whey Isolate is best for Gastric Bypass patients. We absorb more of this protein and use it. Which is most beneficial to us.

As for "drinks".  I like the Click - though it sure seems super messy and clots. You have to be really careful.  It keeps curdling when I mix it with a shaker then heat it up like the website says.

Healthwise has some AWESOME hot chocolates with 15grams of protien each. I get them directly from my Bariatric surgeon for $7 a box.

AchievOne is also awesome - good luck getting it when it is not sold out.

I use the whey protein powder from Walmart.  They have the chocolate and vanilla.  I mix mine with fat-free milk.  I also use some of the protein bars from there too.  They have some good ones.  One I use is the payday.  It tastes like the payday bar and is a protein version of it. Good luck on finding one that you like. Christine

Me and my husband both LOVE LOVE LOVE the Any Whey unflavored powder.  I mix it with peach sugar-free Torani or Da Vinci syrup and water to make a juice/punch-like drink.  After 5 1/2 years, the thought of another thick shake makes me want to vomit.  This stuff is so good, I like to mix it in with yogurt as well since it's as clsoe to tasteless as something that is not air will get.  Throw some fruit in there and you don't even know that you just doubled your protein.  It can also be used to bake with so you can toss a scoop into virtually anything to add protien.  You just can't pour it directly into hot liquid or it will clump and never break up.  You have to mix it with a little bit of room temperature liquid to make a past and then incorporate it into a soup, stew, etc.

Give it a try, I pretty much promise you won't be disappointed.

Being vegetarian, I've used various protein powders for a long time to supplement my diet.  I've tried dozens of them and by far the best is Ultimate Protein by SEI Pharmaceuticals.

I can't ever find it in stores tho, and have to order it off of the web.  Its the best tasting protein, but it also is the best dissolving.  No clumps or graininess.  Love the stuff!
