Hi everyone. One of my newsletter sent me this information and I want to pass it on to all of you. We all know we don't and should not eat these but we all have a weakness. With that in mind I offer the following information:

"It's almost that time of year again so I thought I would give you a heads-up on the nutritional values of some of your favourite Girl Scout cookies.

If you still want to be of help to them and NOT eat the cookies, tell them to pick out THEIR favourite box of cookies for their family and selves and I will pay for it. This way they get the sale, they get the treats and I get to leave the gym a little bit earlier! I do the same thing if they come to my door. If food is involved I love to help the little ones out but I prefer to leave the goodies with them."

You know, the girls only get 60 cents for every box they sell to stay with their troop.  If they get a donation instead of you buying a box of cookies, all of that money stays with the troop.  If you don't eat the cookies and you get asked to buy a box, simply tell them instead of giving you a box they should consider it a donation so all the money can stay with the girls.  :)

great idea. I love those girl scout cookies. I use to buy 20 boxes or more a year and keep them in the freezer. This year I will just donate the money to the troops. Minus one box of thin mints for the hubby. He is already aware that they must stay away from me. lol
