3 Bean Chili
Just thought i would post this recipe. It is one of my favorites and my family too! This is a best life recipe.
3 bean Chili
1 tbs Olive oil
1 small onion diced
1 pound lean ground turky breast
1 14 1/2 oz can diced tomatoes w/jalapenos
1 10 1/2 oz can chickpeas,drained
1 10 1/2 oz can black beans, drained
1 10 1/2 oz can kidney beans, drained
1 10 1/2 oz can low sodium chicken broth
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cumin
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
Directions:
In a large pot, heat oil on medium low heat.
Add onion and saute until soft (about 3-5 minutes)
Add the turkey and brown it (about 5 minutes)
Add the remaining ingredients. Stir and bring to a boil. Reduce
heat and simmer for at least 20 min.

We usually add 1/2 can of corn. Top it with shreaded cheddar or mozzerella. I will be making either rice or cornbread for the family to eat with it as well. Enjoy!!
