does any have a recipe for baked cheese (i saw it on someone's page or somewhere on this site).. it was a very simple reciepe.. basically some cheese and other stuff , then bake on a cookie sheet until crisp.. anyone that could help would be great... I'm not to this stage yet (still on pureed foods) but I think it would be great down the line.. thanks again

not sure if this is what you are looking for or not, but I take about 1 Tablespoon of shredded parmesan cheese, put it on parchment paper on a cookie sheet and bake at like 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes until lightly brown - take it out and let it cool, it is like a cheese "cracker" with no carbs. Of course you can make as many as you wanted to.

Enjoy!

Try different spices and different ingredients in your "chips"!

Cheese Chips
-cheddar, swiss, mozza or parm cheese (I prefer harder cheeses for my chips)
-pumpkin, sesame or sunflower seeds (optional)
-½ tsp. onion powder
-½ tsp. garlic powder
-½ tsp. of your favorite hot spice (optional)

-Toss ingredients together.
-Place little clumps on non-stick cookie sheet & bake at 400º for approximately 6 minutes until flat, hard, & crisp - not burned!
-Remove with spatula & place on rack to cool.

I add tons of different things to these chips.  i really like adding finely chopped meats like salami, pepperoni, ham...Experiment!!!

You can also do it in the microwave on a plate.  Remove with a butter knife and place on a paper towel to remove fat and cool.
