the "Beany" taste

Does anyone know how to get the raw green bean taste you get with soy flour out of a recipe?  Every time I use it on one of these recipes.  It ends up tasting beany.  I hate wasting flour and tastebuds on the grossness of it all.  I love soy products, but there has to be something better than soy flour.  Can the flavors be covered up?  If so, what did you use?

I don't use just soy flour I use whole wheat and soy mixed. Sometimes I use almond flour and soy mixed. It keeps it from having that taste. I use less of the soy flour than the other flour I mix with it. Example if it calls for 2 cups I use 1 1/4 of wheat or almond and 3/4 cup of soy flour. Try that and see if that helps. Teresa

I know this post is old but see if you can find soy powder also called soy milk powder.  It is made from cooked soy beans, flour is made from raw soybeans.  the flavor is very mild in comparison.  the can be used interchangeably
