I actually really like cottage cheese, but I'm wondering what I can do to "spice it up" a bit. Any suggestions?

Add sugar free jam or preserves.

I've also heard to add pumpkin pie spice for a different kick.  I haven't tried it but it sounded interesting.

I've added lemon pepper seasoning for a more savory flavor vs sweet as well.

If you want to go sweet you can add one can of drained pinnapples sf jello and one small container of fat free cool whip. Make a great dish for the holiday.

Well I don't accually know the ounces. I just buy the smallest size cottage cheese and the smallest container of cool whip and then one medium can of crushed pinnapples drain them. and you can use any flavor of the SF jello(one small box). I used strawberry last time it was really good.

First you mix the cottage cheese and jello together then add the drained pinnapple and last add the cool whip. It is so easy. You really cant go wrong unless you leave to much juice from the pinnapples. You can even use pinnapple chunks, easier to drain.

Measure it out and then add salsa.  I like the hot fresh stuff--gives it a tang.  Also you can mix in Mrs. Dash or taco seasoning or cajun seasoning.  Jus****ch the sodium content of your spices.

Here's my favorite:

1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 tsp cocoa powder, 1/4 tsp vanilla, heaping spoon of splenda. Blend it all in a magic bullet. Top with sf cool whip and mini choco chips.

YUMMY
