For protein shakes I used www.jayrobb.com chocolate, vanilla and unflavored whey.

I put the unflavored whey in Swanson's Chicken Broth.  It was the only off the shelf broth I liked.
Mostly I made soups and used a magic bullet or wand to puree any vegetables I put in, then added unflavored whey.

For protein shakes, I invested in many different flavors from DaVinci Sugar Free Syrups.  They made life worth living.  My favs:

Hazelnut (Original) Sugar Free Syrup ****oasted)
Blueberry
Peach
Amaretto
German Chocolate Cake
Kahlua
Pineapple
Coconut
Chocolate
Almond
Maple
Huckleberry
Banana
Eggnog
Gingerbread was just OK

I did not like the flavor of Strawberry, Peanut Butter, Cookie Dough, Macadamia Nut.

I also use these syrups to flavor my water when it gets too boring.  Be sure to buy their pumps, it makes dispensing a lot easier.

I did add a teaspoon of peanut butter in a chocolate protein drink to make reece's cup and it was good.

Combining pineapple and coconut made a nice pina colada water and in a vanilla shake, pretty good.

Enjoy!

It's not soup, but I recently tried the following and love it!

Peanut Butter Shake

1 Cup Hood Low Carb Drink - Vanilla (you can use milk, I just cannot tolerate milk)
1 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
2 TBSP PB2 (Powdered Peanut Butter - Made by Bell Plantation, Inc.)
1 tsp Splenda
1/2 cup ice

Put all in the blender and mix until ice is crushed.  Yum!

I'm one week out today. My Nut had me do this and I and SO glad i did it. A few days before surgery I bought a bag of that 15 bean soup mix (you find it in the dry bean section). She had me put Ham, ham bone...whatever you got in it. otherwise follow the directions on the back of the bag. It will have you put in some Rotel and a spice packet that comes with the beans. Cook it up. Slightly overcook the beans so that their kinda mushy. After it's cooled put some in the blender (you'll have to do this in batches) and start pureeing it. I had to add some water here. Just blend it till it's liquefied. The ham will even become liquidy. Then strain it to make sure that there are no pieces left in it. Pour it into ice cube trays and freeze. Once their frozen just pop them out and store in a ziplock. When you want some just take out a cube or 2 thaw and eat. Tastes SO good!!!! And your getting protein from the beans and the ham.

Hi! I made a huuuuge pot of soup yesterday (froze some, hubby had plenty to take to work for lunch, etc.) and it can be adjusted to your likes/dislikes/stages of diet. Here is what I did... and as you can see it made a lot! But I do that a lot in the winter, and one batch of soup is at least a couple of good meals!

Italian Veggie Beef Soup

1 lb extra lean ground beef, browned
3-4 small zucchini, sliced and halved
2 small yellow onions, diced
2 cloves minced garlic (I use jarred)
1 bell pepper (any color) diced
1 – 1 1/2 C matchbook sliced carrots (or shredded)
2 cans of great northern beans (drained)
2 cans (13-ish ounces) petite diced tomatoes (not drained)
1 can (13-ish ounces) italian stewed tomatoes (cut those up smaller, also not drained)
2 cans low sodium chicken broth
2 little cans tomato sauce (or one 13-ish ounce can)
Italian seasoning (to taste) … could use fresh herbs, but I didn’t have those so I used dry.
a bit of salt
4-5 twists of ground black pepper

Bring to a boil, then simmer 3-4 hours on low until veggies are all tender.

Sprinkle w/ fresh grated parmesan when serving.

You can omit the beef and do this vegetarian style, or use a lb of another type of meat or combinations of meats, like chicken, ground turkey, italian turkey sausage, turkey smoked sausage, or even shrimp, but if you do shrimp, I’d do pre-cooked and add it shortly before serving so it won’t get rubbery!
