I use only sea salt these days.  I hear it's better for you - don't ask me why!  LOL

I've always used morton's lower sodium salt.  It's a lighter blue and smaller container then the original.

I use Himalayan Crystal Salt.  You can get it from www.swansonvitamins.com
It is supposed to be better for you than sea salt due to the fact the this is taken directly from the mines without further processing, where as sea salt has to be further processed to get all chemicals and everything out of it.
They have other sizes, This is just the best deal on the product.

Accept no other-this is the only real Himalayan Salt in America endorsed by the founder of the European crystal salt movement, Dr. Barbara Hendel. As the ancient seas evaporated and the Himalayan Mountains rose from the earth, ribbons of pure crystal salt were stretched throughout the rock. Its structure, mineral composition and purity was thus preserved to this day. This crystal salt is 100% pure and natural. It's not refined like table salt; it's more pure and wholesome than sea salt or rock salt. Dr. Hendel's Himalayan Crystal Salt is hand-mined to preserve its integrity and provide pure elemental energy from the earth. While many of Europe's leading chefs now demand Himalayan Crystal Salt in their kitchens, there's more to this natural wonder than culinary applications. Dr. Hendel recommends its use in baths, in skin-care solutions, in vaporizers and more-all detailed in her booklet Water & Salt , available exclusively through Swanson Health Products.

This suggestion is per the Dr. I work for. NO SALT.

Now, I like salt on certain things for sure. Other things I can survive without it. Lower sodium salt has a TON of potassium which at high levels, is bad for your heart. Really bad.

I still use salt, but only when I really, really want it. Try using alternative seasonings but check the labels on those. Some of those have a ton of salt in them too.........

He suggests using Mrs. Dash on anything you would use salt on. It is a great sub for alot of things. It has great flavor but doen't alway**** the spot for certain items.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
