deviled eggs...have a recipe?
DS on 08/05/16
My family makes deviled eggs that are more savory than sweet. We add mayo & a splash of white vinegar. They are delicious! We sprinkle some paprika on the top of half & leave the other half plain.
Good luck!

Revision band to DS. I had plastics to take care of my jiggily bits. I'm feeling so good!! My results have been even better than I ever dreamed.
I found this recipe here on OH. I haven't tried them but I'd like to. Hope this helps. Christine (internetnut)
Deviled Eggs
Deviled Eggs
- 12 large eggs
- 1/2 cup fat-free cottage cheese
- 3 tablespoons low-fat mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 dash paprika (to garnish)
Directions
-
1
Place the eggs in a large saucepan with enough cold water to cover by 1 inch. Bring to a simmer, do not boil. Cook 10 minutes; start the timer as soon as the water bubbles. Drain and set the pan under cold running water for 2 minutes. Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. With a small spoon, carefully remove the yolks, reserving 6 yolks for another use. -
2
In a blender, puree the cottage cheese until smooth; set aside. In a medium bowl, mix the remaining 6 egg yolks with the cottage cheese mixture, mayonnaise, relish and mustard; spoon the mixture back into the hollowed-out egg whites. Arrange the eggs on a platter and sprinkle with paprika.
My deviled eggs are the hit of my Saturday night poker parties :}
Mix your egg yolks with some Light Mayo (actually I use light Miracle Whip), Light or FF Ranch Dressing, Mustard, Dill Pickle Relish, a little salt and lots of black pepper. Delicious!
Go easy on the Miracle Whip and a little more on the Ranch and mustard as that is where you get the good flavor. I tried doing it without the Mayo, but you really need that "binding" element.
Enjoy!
