Banana Bread Oatmeal
I made this for breakfast this morning. I'm still on a oatmeal kick with bananas used the last one today. I will not use salt next time I make this. Christine (internetnut)

Banana Bread Oatmeal
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/8 teaspoon table salt
- 3/4 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
- 1 small banana, mashed
- 2 packets Splenda sugar substitute
- 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar-free maple syrup

Bring water and salt to a rapid boil in a sauce pan. -

Add oatmeal and bring back to a boil. -

Add banana, spice, Splenda. -

Turn down to medium and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often. -

Remove pan from heat, stir in maple syrup, cover and let sit about 3 minutes. -

Serve in a bowl with milk (if desired).
