Banana Nut Oatmeal

I made this recipe this morning. Yum! I of course used Splenda. I also used 1 whole small banana. Very yummy! Christine (internetnut)

Banana Nut Oatmeal

• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1-2 tablespoon sugar
• 1/3 cup oatmeal
• 2/3 cup milk
• 1/2 banana (mashed)
• 2 tablespoons walnuts (chopped)

In small saucepan stir together butter, sugar (2 tbsp.if you like it a little sweeter), oatmeal and milk. Cook and stir until almost done then add nuts and banana. Finish stirring and cooking until completed. Serve with love.

Do you use the instant oats or the ones you have to cook?

I used the old fashioned oats. I don't see why you can't use the quick oats. As to instant are you talking from a packet? I can't see why you can't use a packet of them. I hope that answered your question. If you got more just ask! Thanks christine (internetnut)
