Is Flaxmeal the same as ground Flax Seed?  Have not seen Flaxmeal anywhere so just want to make sure.

it is not the same thing, but you might be able to use it nonetheless....so it's worth a try....  I'm not sure how it will turn out, so let me know!

Ground flax meal is fretty fine, but still a bit gritty.... (thus good for batter)

I've never  heard of almond flour or flax meal.   Are they in the grocery store or do you get them from a specialty store?

You can by them at a lot of natural type of stores like wildoats or online at Netrition.com (whic is where I must get mine since I live in the islands.)
