Amaretto Chicken
I filed this recipe away months ago due to the fact that nothing in my house was sugar free but thanks to my WLS - I have a ton of it. So I took out this recipe, ordered what I needed from Torani and made it for dinner last night. It was just as yummy as the picture looked back in the day.
Amaretto Chicken
3 bonless chicken breasts
1 tbsp soy flour (or protein powder, that's what I used)
1/2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tbsp butter (to reduce the fat and sodium, I use spray butter, any brand will do)
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 cup SF Orange syrup
1/4 cup SF Amaretto syrup
salt, pepper, paprika, garlic power
Preheat oven to 350.
Combine flour and spices and coat chicken.
Heat oil and butter in skillet and sauté chicken till brown, 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove and put in casserole dish.
To skillet, add mustard and SF syrups. Boil, stirring till slightly thick, about 3 min.
Pour sauce over chicken and bake, covered for 20 min.
Really easy, really yummy! Enjoy!
