Ideas for Breakfast

How about this.

Spray a custard cup or ramekin with butter flavored cooking spray.  Add an egg (or two), add a couple tablespoons of fat free half and half over the egg.  Season with salt, pepper or what ever sounds good to you.  Add a little shreaded low fat cheddar on top.  Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 15 to 20 minutes until the eggs are softly set.  If left in too long the yolks will get hard.

I also will make a fake quiche similar to mentioned above.  (for the best I added so onions, pepper, pepper jack cheese and some hot sauce to the egg custard)  Just be careful, my doc did not want me having spicy foods for a couple of months following surgery.

I recently started with steel cut oats for a weekend treat as I still try to keep my total carbs low.

SF / FF yogurt with a little fruit?

some days I would have lunch foods for breakfast, just because nothing sounded good to me.

Good luck
