Make a breakfast quiche! You can cut it up, put slices in a zip lock and freeze. You can really change up the flavor with different ingredients. I use Ham, Turkey Sausage or Turkey Bacon, with Onions, Bell Peppers, Spinach, Different Cheeses. Whatever suits my mood at the time. Sometimes add tomatos sometimes not!
A whole wheat pancake might be ok depending on how far out you are. I ate a couple of bites of one at IHOP and did not have any problem. Be sure you use sugar free syrup!.
Try some cereal with ff milk. Just be sure you read the label well before you decide which cereal.

I do breakfast quiche's also....I usually make 48 or so, all in muffin tins for a perfect size. I have some mini tins too.....They do freeze well and reheat up great.I so swiss, ham and cheese with chopped grean onions, bacon and cheddar cheese....Spinich, swiss and ham.....Like you said anything you like in them....They are easy to grab on the way out the doorl . These would work on 2nd phase or the last phase just fine, depending on the choices of meat...
Have you ever made an egg in the microwave for a sandwich or for an egg mcmuffin??? They work perfect!!! We made them all the time at a coffee shop that I worked at...I also cut up bacon into small slices...brown it good, add a few table spoons of chopped green onion and saute'for a few min in the bacon grease...drain the bacon and onions....now add your mixed up eggs to your mixture. and scramble it all together. It is wonderful!!! As a kid, we called it Kit Karson Goulash after a cowboy movie......It's a good one for even supper!!

I'm only 4 weeks out so i dont know if i can have any of that. I would love cereal.lol
I am at the end of week 3 and can have beef, chicken, most cooked veggies, peeled fruit, fish, whole wheat bread. What can my small tummyhandle: you're right cream of wheat or yogurt. Eggs are my enemy as is most foods before 11AM. Get your instruction sheet from the doc and see what can be made into an omlet--at 1 week out I tried that and it was great--then at 3 weeks my tummy rebelled. Hope you find something you enjoy.

I want pancakes to! My Diet/Nut told us no pancakes even cottage cheese pancakes. She never said for how long either. I'd be happy to wrap one around a piece of sausage. Man what I wouldn't give for a taste of a pancake drenched in syrup. And a egg mcmuffin well I will make it as soon as possible. My Diet/Nut said we can have thin english muffins. I'm able to eat scrambled eggs and I've had a sausage patty and did fine. I haven't tried the english muffins yet. I'll be watching this post. Thanks christine (internetnut)
Jeni, can you have oatmeal yet??? I'm 5 years out, and I still have plan oatmeal with fresh fruit, or yogurt with granola each morning. On the weekends I do either have the mini quesh, or we go to IHOP for one multigrain pancake, and either bacon or sausage.....Never any syrup...lol
If your able to have oatmeal, plain, you can add some SF jelly to it for flavoring, or you can try the low sugar oatmeal pkgs.....
I also make sausage balls to have on had durning the week, it is an easy grab, heat and go breakfast
Recipe
Breakfast Sausage Balls
1 small onion-chopped
1 each, red and green bell pepper-chopped
1lb of Owens Sausage, I use the HOT, it is not hot it just adds flavor
3 cups bisquick mix
1/3 cup of milk
2 cups of cheddar cheese-shredded
Mix everything in a bowl and make between 30-35 balls. Heat oven at 350 and bake for 20-25 minutes. I store the leftovers in a zip lock bag, and place in fridge-to reheat, I just place in a wet paper towel and microwave on 30sec intervels until heated through....

I had the same problem - hate breakfast foods - except those that are bad for you. I tried Whole Grain Cheerios that soaked in milk for about 15 minutes. Makes them soft and mushy - but boy did that do the trick for me! Only about a tablespoon though. Settled fine for me. My nut told me if I can hanlde it, then it's fine.
