Mcdonalds Iced Coffee Question???

Does anyone know what kind of coffee Mcdonalds uses for their Iced Coffee's? I have tried and tried to duplicate this but it is much harder than it needs to be. Any ideas welcomed?

I don't know for sure, but I'd bet it's Cains.  Most restaurants use it.  When you get it figured out, let me know !!!   Sorry I didn't stop to see you this morning, I had to get to work ASAP !!!  I know, you just wanted to see me in my Old Navy jeans and cowboy boots, right?  When are you going to join Ruth and Luanne and I at country dancing?

I have only 2 answers for you on this one rita!   either of my answers might lack real evidence, but hey, I'm guessing here...

The first one is that I think they're stealing it off the back of the truck at Starbucks (or they may actually be purchasing it from an employee who needs extra cash...

OR

the second guess is that it's folger's....

I wouldn't really know since I never drink the java-juice...

But hey it's so good to see Oklahoma people here!  I love the recipe forums, the people here are simply great!  S hopefully someone here will now the McD's coffe brand or how to make it!

Aw, Thanks for the introduction Thomas. You're right, they probably do get it from Starbucks some how. I'm on a mission to find out.

Wasn't there a big ad campaign a while back the the Coffe was made by Newman's Own?

I know that I can find out from my cousin's granddaughter. She is a teenager and works at McDonald's after school. I will call and see if I can find out and then I will post it if I do find it out. Now the waiting begins!

I just read an article about their coffee being up against Starbuck's and our Tim Horton's in a blind test and Mickey D's won.   Here's what the article says about their coffee. I'm not sure if they use the same in the US but it might be worth a try.

McDonald's introduced its premium blend CafeeRoast, an Arabica coffee supplied in Canada by Mother Parkers, in 2003.
