LOW Carb recipes.... and the right type of recipes for the "little tummy" people...

As you can tell, I've added 3 new scallop recipes.  I didn't even know what a scallop tasted like until 2 years ago.  Let me tell ya..they are terrific!  They absorb flavors and are wonderful unless you overcook them and then they become chewy.

Not everyone is into scallops, so I made sure you could substitute them for shrimp.  A ton of people have been wanting something more than just hamburger or chicken or steak...so here ya go...  I also didn't post a lemon sauce or a bacon wrapped scallop because you can do those in your sleep....so easy and the flavors will get old quick if you have too much....  we like new exciting flavors that you're not used to...

Something for a change to your menu.  Everything that I post here is always low carb.  i could post recipes that are truly "food porn" but if I did, then it would defeat the purpose of trying to make sure that people keep their goals in focus.  A lot of people want my regular "food porn" recipes but most of those are very difficult to make and are so rich for us that itwould cause problems in the bathroom....so I'm not into giving anything but healing and goodness for you.

I'm not "flaming" others for posting recipes but, with some many recipes that include real sugar and real flour and real carbs....those are stall creators and ultimately belong to those people who are naturally skinny.... i can't understand why we would want those other than to tempt us away from our goals. (beleive me, my "regular" recipes are very difficult for me not to eat....they are easier to make becasue they have all of the idulgence that i can make into one dish)...it's very hard to make tasty dishes for true carb control.....  THANK YOU for the people who give me great comments....you are my inspiration...and so I try to keep all of you inspired...

I only want to give you what works for the army of "little tummy" people.

I hope you guys and gals enjoy.

Cowboy,

I love a lot of your recipes but one thing you need to remember.  A lot of people are at goal and now maintaining and not everyone stays low carbing it.  I low carbed it to lose 166 lbs but now if I want carbs, I eat them in moderation but still eat them.  I use real sugar in desserts because I eat so little and never ate them while losing and never missed them.  You supply people with tons of wonderful low carb recipes and they are great for anyone looking to low carb.

Keep the recipes coming.

Tracey,

I completely agree with ya...it's just the amount of emails I get daily from newbies is staggering and most of us know that once we reach goal, that all of us will nibble on bad things but it doesn't change us to eating them all of the time, but one lady just wrote me about how she's been eating because she's been watching the recipe forum and she's been stalled for 3 months until writing me about a month ago and I had her keep a food journal and it was small carbs throughout the week keeping her from pulling any weight off.

I'm always up for helping anyone, and I'm not a food snob kinda guy...(you guys have no idea how I lust for buffalo wings constantly),  my only goal is to give some option that are cool and that give some light to ending some bad stalls out there...

that was my signal to list my low carb things and let people try them and see if they worked....i've been lucky...everyone who has followed my mealplans has broken the stall (at least the people who kept in touch with me...)...

In fact, I'll let everyone know... even i slip up and ask my kiddo for a french fry once in a blue moon... ahhh...the temptation...  but hey, I'm a man...and I'm in paradise...and there's always a wonderful curvy girl in a bikini......

luckily for me the girls are low carb....unluckily for me the rum is not...lol...

damn...  i'm always tempted...always...

Big love!

Hi T,

Thanks for the scallop recipes!  It wasn't so long ago I thought the only way scallops came were deep fried.  As soon as my pouch starts behaving with non-whey protein, I'll give these a try.

PS.  My Flax Z Snacks cereal came today!  The strawberries & Cream was awesome with 1 packet of splenda, 3 strawberries and a splash of fat free half & half.  They're safely tucked in the refrigerator where they won't go bad before I eat them this time. lol

T,

I made the Parmesean Crusted Pork Chops for my DH and we both loved them.  Thanks for all the great recipes you do post.  And I for one am glad you keep the other to yourself and don't temp me!!! LOL

I have always been considered a good cook.  As I said to someone once you told me they heard I was a good cook, "Do you really think I got this big eating bad food!!!"  I am now learning that all good tasting food is not bad for you!!!

Thanks again,
