Karen,

I didn't see the other one, you could "try" this one though...

1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup nonfat milk
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 packets of Splenda
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
add a touch of honey to make sure it's got a nice sticky base to mix with peanut butter!

combine everything, microwave for 2 minutes if not able to make into balls, add more oats

then roll and let set up in fridge.

Ok now I have to go make some

Sometimes you just put one foot in front of the other, even if you don't know where you're going.

this was posted a couple of years ago in the recipe forum:

Protein Balls: 2 Cups Peanut Butter-(Jiffy or Skippy works best) 1 Cup Oatmeal (the big old fashioned oats) 1 Cup Protein powder-vanilla or chocolate (one that you like) 3/4 cup Splenda   Warm peanut butter in microwave for 40 seconds, add everything else and mix well. Roll into walnut sz balls. you can either refridgerate or put in tupperware sealed container Each ball is 10-12 g of protein.

I had a REALLY bad experience in the hospital after my wls with protein powder. I hated the taste along with the thickness. What kind of protein powder do you all use that doesn't have a terrible taste?

The hospital mixed the powder with soup and it resembled oatmeal. The nurse told me I should eat my oatmeal and I told her it was soup. lol You should have seen the face she made and then told me she understood why I didn't eat it. lol

That is the best protein!  I am so glad I discovered it without having to go through tons of protein to find out how delish this is!
