This has a ton of taste in it.  I've tried to add more herbs and spices only to find it was already powerful enough.  Put this o a spring mix and you've got a salad that will make family reunions think you're a chef due to the "miracle" taste of this stuff....

Don't just put this on salads though... use it for chicken/pork marinades and for grilling sauces!

T's "Miracle" Vinaigrette

Ingredients:

2 Strips of Crispy Fried Bacon  (notice "crispy" not burned!)
3 Ounces  Sun Dried Tomatoes
1/4 Cup  Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 oz. Red Wine Vinegar
1 Cup  Fresh Basil Minced
2 Tbsp  Garlic Minced
1/2  Shallot Chopped
2 Tsp    Aged Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tsp    Zested Lemon Rind
 Salt And Pepper to taste

Preparation:

1.Put everything but bacon and salt and pepper into blender.....blend until creamy...

2.Chop bacon into tiny bits add to creamy mixture....add salt and pepper to taste...

3.Listen to the oooohhh's and ahhhh's of how good this tastes....

If you like it, please post your comments in this forum!  Thanks, it keeps me posting more!

Does this happen to taste like the warm bacon dressing used at Applebees?  Boy I hope so.

Not sure that I've ever tasted this in any where else other than my kitchen.  I will tell ya what....there was a restaurant called "Charlie Mitchell's Midtown diner" that made the most incredible "Hot Basil" vinaigrette finished with bacon....  I worked there and never got the recipe....i was too busy with chatting with the girls i suppose...  plus I worked in the front of the house, not the kitchen...

Oh well...I'll find the combination on my own and then I'll release it.....hehe..

T, this sounds really good. I want to try this one for sure.

The only thing that would make your recipes perfect is if you came and fixed them for me. Couldn't beat that with a club!

This looks incredible-we're having roast chicken and salad tonight and I am going to make this to go on the salad! I'll let you know how it goes.

This is super-yummy!!!  I used it last night - marinated some chicken breasts in it for a couple hours, then grilled them on the bbq and used it on our salad, too.  Awesome stuff.  And really easy & handy to only have to make one dressing for both the marinade and the salad.  Good Stuff, T!!!!
