No Meat Chili

I'm having trouble with chicken, beef and turkey so I altered my chili recipe to accomodate my tummy.   Add meat at will.  I'll live vicariously!

Chili

1 can refried beans
1 can garbanzo beans
1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
2 T chili powder
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp cardamom
1 tsp corriander
1T paprika
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp cayenne
1 T onion, dry minced
cheddar cheese, shredded

Put all spices in at hot pan and sweat 10 – 20 seconds.  Be careful not to burn.

Add beans and tomato sauce and simmer 30-40 minutes.  Adjust spices as needed.

Top with cheese and enjoy.
This is good over White Cheddar Kruncheeze too.

I put the leftovers over firm tofu cubes.  Not bad either.

I'm also having trouble with meat and this sounds just like just what I've been looking for. I bet it would be good with some lentils thrown in for extra protein.
