Flax-z-snax
A dream come true for those living the low carb lifestyle. And a wonderful replacement for those who are missing oatmeal with some real flavor! A hot breakfast cereal.
Made from a mixture of ground nuts, wheat bran, flax seed meal, and other wholesome ingredients, it is hard to believe that they are only 2 carbs per serving after subtracting fiber.
You MUST add fruit to your particular flavor... I buy the "strawberries and cream" and I add 3 strawberries for a HALF portion, (since my tummy is so small) I simply puree the strawberries and add them and one packet of splenda, and boom....I've got some of the best breakfast i could ask for.
They come in flavors of - butter pecan, cinnamon & spice (which is great with a tiny bit of apple), vanilla almond, pecan praline, chocolate cream, and of course, strawberries & cream.
And YES this is another stall-buster ingredient in my arsenal against the fat....

I saw your post and thought..don't I have some of that? I went rummaging through the closet and there it was! From a previous "diet" that didn't work. The flax was rancid but I remember how much I liked the butter pecan. I just ordered more and the strawberry. I'll keep it in the refrigerator this time.
