These little babies have helped me through some tough eating times!  Give these a go if getting in your protein is tough!  They're delish!!!!!!!!!!!

Try different spices and different ingredients in your "chips"!

Cheese Chips
-grated extra old cheddar, swiss, mozza, jarlsberg or parm cheese for each "chip"
-pumpkin, sesame or sunflower seeds (optional)
-½ tsp. onion powder
-½ tsp. garlic powder
-½ tsp. of your favorite hot spice (optional)

-Toss ingredients together.
-Place little clumps on non-stick cookie sheet & bake at 400º for approximately 6 minutes until flat, hard, & crisp - not burned!
-Remove with spatula & place on rack to cool.

I have also made these chips with finely grated ham and pepperoni mixed in....very yummy!!!!!!!!!!  My personal fav cheese to use is jarlsburg or swiss.

Prior to surgery, I use to slice and eat so much Jarlsburg...omg it's amazing! Expensive, but oh so good!

Thanks for sharing this. I have wanted to make them for so long but now I think I just might do it. The other recipes that I was didn't have the other ingrediants in them and this one sounds better with the added flavors.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Kim,
Thank you sooo much for this awesome recipe. I have been living on these as snacks this past week and it really helped up my protein intake while helping me feel like I'm crunching something. My kids even loved the pepperoni garlic Mrs. Dash ones from today.

Thanks again!

How long will these keep after you make them? Should they be refrigerated or just kept in a ziploc bag? I can't wait to try them!

I just leave them in a ziploc on the counter...really they don't last long enough around here for me to put them in the fridge (I don't care for them cold).

This is a recipe I've been looking for.  I ordered some from the bariatric shopping place, but they are expensive.  Thanks for the goodies.

Ohh I love these. They are great to dip with my tuna salad which gets so boring at times but it gives it a kick!
