Cream cheese

Hi all, can anyone tell me if you can freeze cream cheese?  I don't think in all of my years of being in a kitchen that I've ever froze cream cheese.....Thanks in advance!!!  Patti K.

I have froze cream cheese and it turned out very grainy afterwards. Usable, but not very good consistency wise. Hope this helps.
