Refrigerator Cucumber Pickles

I make these all the time and they are GOOD!
Enjoy!!!!!

8 cups sliced cucumbers
1 cup white vinegar
1 tbls salt
1 cup sliced onion (I use more)
Splenda equal to 1 3/4 cups of sugar (I use less)
1 tbl celery seed

Pour mixture of vinegar, sugar(Splenda), salt and celery seed over cucumbers and onion. Marinate for several days in the refrigerator.
Will keep for one year in the refrigerator.

Thank you so much for posting this.  I'll definitely try them.  Can you believe that one cuke was $1.00 in the store the other day.  Good Lawd!!!  I guess I'm showing my age. (Still better than the cost of pickles though! Thanks, Dancin'D

Rich, this recipe sounds yummy!!  But have you ever ran across one for dills in the fridge?  Just wondering.... Patti K.

I've substituted Pickling Spice for the celery seed and they came out pretty good.
