I am looking for an "acceptable" recipe for Biscotti.  Can anyone help?

It's the things that you do, that you don't have to do, that determine the difference when it is too late to do anything about it.    Author Unknown

Hi Phyllis,    I make a biscotti from a reg. recipe, it has 6 eggs in it and instead of all the flour, I just replace it with vanilla whey powder, 1 cup=1 cup flour,  and it turns out great. I have been making my biscotti since Dec and give it out to my WLS frienda as gifts. I add almonds, walnuts or cranberries, whatever I have and have had no problems. It keeps forever.   Good luck.. its a great protein food item..if you dont like the sugar, mine calls for 1 1/2 cups, I can't do the sugar twin stuff, I just reduce the sugar content and it still turns out great.Peggysue
Some things are better rich.. coffee, men, chocolate

Can you share your recipe with us. I would like to try and make it. I love  biscotti and with the protein  it is an added bonus. Please share. See you lighter. Joanne
