Cottage Cheese recipes anyone?
OK, i'm a cottage cheese-aholic... always have been since i was a kid-probably started in the womb - LOL. I'm also the SUPER SIMPLE recipe type girl.
Here's some ways I eat cottage cheese:
plain
w/ black pepper
w/ fruit (strawberries, pineapple, cantalope are my ubber favs)
w/ tuna and egg whites as a tuna salad
w/ marinara sauce
as a filling for lasagna (ok, this was mostly a pre-op thing)
filing for deviled eggs
For the last week I"ve been eatting cottage cheese at every meal - I've been seriously craving it.
So my question is - anyone have any other yummy (but super quick) ways or ideas of eatting cottage cheese?
Cass
I have used a little sugar free instant pudding mixed in. You can use chocolate, vanilla, banana, cheesecake, white chocolate, lemon or butterscotch. I think the cheesecake or vanilla was the best. Everyones taste are different. I hope this helps. I really like cottage cheese myself. I think its great with about any fruit. Teresa M.
Two quick yummy ways I like it.

2) 1/4c. cottage chese 1 tsp flour 1 tsp vanilla extract cinnamon to taste and 1 egg. mix all together and spray pan with pam. Make like a pancake and eat with a sugar free fruit composte. Yummy breakfast.
