I would like to try and use tofu in a type of spread (sort of like you would use mayo) any ideas or help. Thanks, Claire

Make sure you use silken tofu if you're making a spread.  It will come out way better than if you use other types.  Is there any particular type of spread you're looking to make?  I'm pretty good with coming up with tofu ideas.

Something to maybe use in tuna, egg, or chicken salads or use as a  dressing for salads, dips ,etc, or am I thinking to far out of the box. Thanks for replying

Claire, I would puree a block of soft (not firm) silken (not regular) tofu with garlic, herbs of your choice, and enough lemon juice to give the consistency wanted. Jean
