Frozen Fage
I've been trying to deny myself the pleasure of ice cream and it's been making me REALLY cranky so instead I found an alternative: 1/3 c. fage 0%, 2 tbsp peanut butter melted in micro for 18 seconds, 1/2 packet of splenda or sweet n low and 1 tbsp sf raspberry preserves or 1 tbsp chocolate torani. Mix and freeze for 2 hours...YUMMY. Night 2 and it was excellent and creamy!!!
240 calories w/ preserves or 220 w/ torani syrup.
Anyone have any other ideas to replace ice cream??? I was eating double churn no sugar added but it made me dump for 2 hours one night and now it makes my pouch queasy even looking at the container. Thank you in advance.
I also struggle with ice cream. Prior to surgery I had a bowl every night.
I like this milkshake, you can freeze it for an hour or to and get it a little bit more like ice cream.
8 0z skim milk
5 pecans
1/2 bannana
1 scoop vanilla protein mix
4-6 cupes of ice
1 packet of splenda
You can change up the fuit or protein flavor to get different flavors. It is the portion that is important to not over do the sweet/to protein ratio.
