Looking for a Recipe

Hi Guys I once came across a recipe for Pea a la Roux (sp).  Is there anyone out there who has this recipe. Thanks in advance

I would be happy to help you search~~~~~~~~~  is it a soup? ~~  or peas in a creamy base? Like melt the butter, add flour and stir  till disolved,then add enough milk to make a creamyy texturethen add the peas?? is that what you are look looking for ? If so, then this is just a  is a basic creamed pea recipe Although I do not care for peas much myself ,I love to  cook and search out recipes My hubby's family adds cubed cooked potatoes to this creamed peas mixture  sometimes they may add a jar of pearled onions ,drained   to the pea mix  instead of potatoes and serve it alongside porkchops,or chicken ..  a roux is basically  some sort of grease melted ,like butter or bacon grease or margerine ,then flour added slowly, then a liquid like milk or broth stirred in  to prevent lumps and get desired texture and thickness. Hope this
