Tomato Sauce vs other sauces (?)

Hey Everyone, I want to try Eggfaces' (Michelle) Baked Ricotta but I was wondering if I could use tomato sauce in place of marinara? When I did my shopping for the pureed stage, my sister was rushing me so I grabbed the tomato sauce since most of the sauces had a lot of sugar. What do you all think?

I don't know if you ever got an answer but yes, by all means you can use straight tomato sauce. You might want to add a little oregano, basil, garlic or whatever italian herbs you like in your sauce just to spruce it up a bit!! Enjoy!!! Cece
