Looking for a good vegetable sauce

I don't like veggies too much, but love them when they are in some kind of sauce.  Green giant is good, but pricy and not too good on being low fat.  Does anyone have a good recipe for a veggie sauce?  Thanks a bunch! Julie

Much Love,
Jules

Julie, I saw your other post about roasting asparagus - you're going to love it!!!! It's my favorite way of preparing it! I don't have a sauce for veggies but I do roast & grill a lot of veggies - it changes the taste of them so you might like them better!! I have roasted everything from broccoli to eggplant to onions to green beans - you name it, I'll try it!!! I will either just spray olive oil on them (I have an oil mister) & add salt & pepper or use Newman's Own Light Balsamic Vinegarette as a marinade (good on eggplant, yellow squash, zucchini & peppers, to name a few). Give that a try & see if it works for you!! Good Luck!! Cece

Try Jalipeno/Lime butter.  Suate either in olive oil or butter 1 tsp minced garlic and minced jalipeno (you can use a milder pepper if you would like.  Add finally minced lime peel and remove from heat.  Add the juice of one lime Val
