what are "english peas"?
I am not 100% sure but I thinkk they are small or baby peas or something close to it & come canned & frozen... or fresh of course!! I do eat them once in a while - not very often... we had them almost every meal growing up because it's all my father would eat... peas & corn!!! oh & beets... ugh!! The only one of the 3 I still eat is corn!!!

English peas are simply another word for good ole peas does not matter .. june peas early peas baby peas are generally smaller ...another term they use in the south is Irish potatoes, which is just good ole potatoes.. Creamed potatoes are mashed potatoes .Field corn is simply creamed corn generally cut off the cob and cooked with a little butter & bit of milk till soft and creamy .Simply get a can of whole kernel corn drain well and mix it with a can of cream corn (do not drain) add a nice dab of butter and heat you cannot tell the difference and it is great.. ..
