Great and easy dessert
This is from my old W.W. days but I still make it.
Suprise Dessert
2 small packages S.F. chocolate pudding (instant)
Fat Free soda crackers
1 container S.F. Cool Whip
Make the instant pudding according to directions. Layer the bottom of a glass baking dish with crackers. Pour half the pudding on the layer of crackers. Repeat a layer of crackers on the pudding and pour the remaining pudding on the crackers. Spread the container of cool whip over the top. Cover with saran wrap and refridgerate for at least 24 hours. I find it is better to refridgerate it for about a day and a half. The crackers break down and are similar to pie crust or phylo dough. This is really good. My girlfriend has me make it for her every Thanksgiving. My husband just inhales it!
In fact I just use the regular crackers and not the unsalted ones. I have found the fat free crackers don't have much salt on them and you can't taste it in the dessert. I hope that you all like it as much as we do. I have used the regular crackers (not the fat free) and it seems like they break down better than the fat free ones.
