Hi guys, I have a recipe to share that a friend of mine created. Not sure of the nutritional content but it is really tasty. Enjoy. Here it is: Sarah's Spicy Stuff 1-1/2 lbs. ground beef or turkey 1/2 box noodles (I use the kind with protien and Omega 3) Italian Seasoning (i.e. Thyme, Basil, and Parsley) 1 onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped hot sauce (optional) Crushed red pepper Cajun seasoning (optional) 2 containers of salsa (you pick the heat level) Brown the meat with the onion and pepper. Season with all the desired seasonings. Cook the noodles so that they are still a bit crunchy (they will finish cooking once you mix it together). In a large pot combine the meat mixture, the salsa, and the noodles. Stir well. If it does not have enough sauce you can either add more salsa or a can of diced tomatoes. Coo****il the noodles are the desired consistency and serve. Having leftovers is fine because this tastes even better after it has sat in the fridge and stewed in it's juices.
